NorCal Juniors teams are designed to give young girls an opportunity to get introduced to club volleyball at a young age, for a lower price, and have a shorter season. These teams are strictly for player development and for that reason, modified rules are used at tournaments and playing time is not decided based on performance. The skill development of each player at a young age, in a low intensity environment, is the ultimate goal of these teams.
NorCal Juniors teams will be for 2nd graders – 6th graders. Practices will run mid Jan-mid May and there will be 1 tournament per month for a total of 4 tournaments. We will also have Juniors Day in early November, date TBD.
Our NorCal Juniors teams are “sign up to play,” therefore no tryout is required although we will be building teams based on age and skill level this year. We anticipate having 6-8 teams for the 2025 season.
*We expect our Juniors program to fill up quickly so please be sure to add yourself to the waitlist if it says sold out. We will be in touch with those on the waitlist a week or so after registration opens to confirm if there are any available spots.
Our NorCal Juniors Training Season cost is $1,500 plus a $180 Tournament Fee for a total of $1680. When you register, you will pay 50% of the fees ($840) with the remaining balance due in two increments of $420 on Jan.15 and Feb.15.
Each NorCal Juniors team will practice once a week either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday from 4:15-5:45pm at the NorCal Facility.
We will also host an average of 2 skill specific clinics per month that are optional/available for all 2024 NorCal Juniors players.
Upon registration we will ask if there are any days that WILL NOT work for your daughters schedule. We will do our best to accommodate those schedules, but it is not guaranteed.
NorCal Juniors season is a WCVBA sponsored event. Tournament dates are below and locations will be announced soon.
