BOYS PROGRAM INFORMATION

NorCal Boys Club Program Information

NorCal offers competitive club volleyball teams for boys aged 13-18. For younger athletes, we offer NorCal Juniors, a developmental program for boys and girls aged 7-12.

Training

All of our teams will attend sports performance training twice a week for eight weeks in the beginning of Fall season. For more information, visit our Sports Performance Training page.

Fall Season: August – January

The Fall club season begins with tryouts in early August and concludes with a major tournament in mid-January. Each team practices three times a week, typically twice during the week and once on the weekend. Practices dates and times vary by team. Each team will compete in NCVA’s Power League, consisting of the following tournaments:

Additional tournaments will be optional for Black-level teams.

School Season Break: January – May

The boys will take a break for either middle school or high school seasons from mid-January through mid-May. This is a break in between the two halves of our club season.

Summer Season: May – July

The Summer club season resumes in mid-May and concludes in late June / early July with our national tournament. Teams will continue to practice three times a week. Every team will attend two tournaments during this second half of the club season:
