    The NorCal Advantage

    What is the NorCal Advantage?

The NorCal Advantage gives eligible athletes exclusive early access to register for select NorCal Volleyball Club programs and training opportunities. In some cases, it may also include bundled pricing or priority placement within specific offerings.

    Who qualifies?

Current NorCal athletes are automatically eligible for NorCal Advantage access. Select non-NorCal athletes may also be invited to participate based on evaluation and recommendation by NorCal staff.

Can players outside of NorCal receive the NorCal Advantage?

Yes. NorCal coaches may extend the NorCal Advantage to athletes outside of the club who they are interested in working with. This provides an opportunity for motivated players to experience NorCal’s training environment and coaching staff.

    Substitution List

Select programs may offer a pay-as-you-go substitution list. Substitutes are invited to participate on a per-session basis to fill in for rostered athletes with planned absences.

    Cost

To be added to a substitution list, please email Brian at brian@norcalvbc.com

    Registration

Programs that offer NorCal Advantage access may have limited availability and may not be able to accommodate all applicants. Registration is first come, first served. Once a program is full, athletes may have the option to join a substitution list if available.

2026 Spring Outdoor Grass Volleyball Program

We are excited to announce our new Grass Volleyball training program. The program is for 7th to 10th-grade girls and boys. Check the ages for each monthly session. Outdoor volleyball can benefit indoor volleyball athletes. Grass volleyball requires the athlete to play every position. Players will drill and scrimmage during practice to improve their skills.

Play will be in traditional sixes format with some quads and triples training to improve mobility and ball awareness. Outdoor volleyball is challenging due to the sun, wind, and surface elements that indoor volleyball doesn’t have. We believe outdoor training is another way to improve your athlete’s overall volleyball skills.
