Online Registration Information is Below

For the 2012 season we will be holding tryouts for the following Power League teams:  18 black, 17 black, (either a 18 Blue or a 17 Blue depending on the tryout numbers), 16 black, 16 blue, 15 black, 15 blue, 14 black, 14 blue, 13 black, 13 white, and 12 black. 

We will also be offering three Area League teams (12 Area, 11-1 Area, and 11-2 Area) although there will not be any tryouts for the area league teams.  To earn a position on our area league teams, all you need to do is “Sign up to Play” when registration opens.  The registration link will be active starting Monday, November 7th at 10:00am.  The spots on these teams are on a first come, first serve basis with a maximum of 12 players per team.

Tryouts will be held November 5th and 6th at Dougherty Valley High School (10550 Albion Road San Ramon, Ca 94582)

The schedule is as follows (age definitions are below):

Saturday, November 5

8am-10:00am  (ages 12 and under and 13 and under)

12:00pm-2:30pm (ages 14 and under)

4:30pm-7:00pm (ages 15 and under)

Sunday. November 6

*don’t forget to change your clocks for daylight savings*

10:00am-12:30pm (ages 16 and under)

2:30pm-5:00pm (ages 17 and 18 under)

Monday. November 7

10:00am Area League “sign up to play”

Please note that NorCal’s tryouts are open to all.  We do not reserve any spots for veteran NorCal players, nor will we offer spots to any player before tryouts begin.  Please do not think that because we do not offer you a spot prior to tryouts that we do not want you to be a part of our club.  We feel that the best and most fair way to compile a team is to evaluate all players together at tryouts and then offer spots after tryouts are complete. 

We are taking online registrations for the 2012 season.  Online Registration through both NorCal Volleyball Club and USAV/NCVA is mandatory for the 2012 season.  You will not be able to tryout unless you have registered through both groups prior to tryouts.  Online registration will open Tuesday, October 18th and will close Friday, November 4th at 8 PM.  The fees for tryouts are: $40 for NorCal Registration and $60 for USAV/NCVA  

For online registration, please follow these steps:

3. •Once you register, print out your NCVA membership card so that you have your USAV number and be sure to bring it with you to tryouts (note:  you can take this card with you to multiple clubs tryouts to show proof of registration so keep it handy)

1. •Print out the confirmation email and bring it with you (along with your USAV membership card) to tryouts at Dougherty Valley High School.

Age group definitions are as follows:

18 and Under Division:

Players who were born on or after September 1, 1993

or

Players who were born on or after September 1, 1992 and a high school student during some part of the current

academic year

17 and Under Division:

Players who were born on or after September 1, 1994

16 and Under Division:

Players who were born on or after September 1, 1995

15 and Under Division:

Players who were born on or after September 1, 1996

14 and Under Division:

Players who were born on or after September 1, 1997

13 and Under Division:

Players who were born on or after September 1, 1998

12 and Under Divisions:

Players who were born on or after September 1, 1999

11 and Under Divisions:

Players who were born on or after September 1, 2000
